Academy-Award winner Christopher Plummer plays a 90-year-old Jewish man who, despite his frailty and dementia, makes it his mission to hunt down the Nazi commander who murdered his family in Atom Egoyan’s gripping revenge thriller.

In the nursing home where he lives, Zev (Plummer) mourns his recently deceased wife and struggles to overcome his increasing memory loss. There isn’t much he can hold on to now, but when he discovers that the Auschwitz Block Commander responsible for the deaths of his and his late wife’s families during the Holocaust is alive and well, living under an assumed identity in America, he is moved to action. With the help of written instructions from his wheelchair-bound friend Max (Martin Landau), he sets off to acquire a gun and deliver some long-delayed justice, only to discover the past is more complicated than he remembers. Egoyan is in prime form here, masterfully building suspense while toying with the audiences expectations.  A remarkable cross-continent road-trip with shocking results, Remember is a tense and unforgettable ride.
