UPenn Shoemaker Green, 7:30pm
As hilarious and relevant today as it was nearly 40 years ago, Life of Brian is a farcical parade of caricatures, wordplay and sight gags about all the ways humanity finds to corrupt (and be corrupted by) the power of religion.
To extend our October 14 celebration of
Monty Python and the Holy Grail’s 40th Anniversary at the PFS Roxy, we’re bringing the troupe’s belovedsecond feature back to its adoring audiences at an outdoor screening in University City! Join us at the
University of Pennsylvania’s Shoemaker Green to catch the Pythons in all of their senseless glory as they remind us to always look on the bright side of life.
This special Moonlight Movie is
FREE and open to the public.
No tickets or RSVP required. Bring your own seating and snacks.
In the heart of UPenn, Shoemaker Green is a public commons of welcoming open lawns, tree-lined walkways, and sitting areas. It is both a destination and pedestrian route from Locust and Smith Walks in the core of campus to the historic buildings surrounding the space and furthereastward to Penn Park.
